SPR # MROE6JTTAV | Fixed in 7.0.2; 6.5.6 release |  |

Product Area: IBM Lotus iNotes for MS Outlook Technical Area: Mail Platform: Cross Platform
SPR# MROE6JTTAV - Extremely long server names must be truncated when represented as a key value in the ini file.

Technote Number: 1228999

Problem:
In this customer's case, the cause was that the naming convention of the Domino
server was set up so that the Common Name (CN=) was actually the fully
qualified internet host name of the machine hosting the Domino server. For
example:
appledore.notes.thecompany.com/TheOU/TheOrg
As a result, when DAMO built the entries in the Notes.ini file that identifies
the managed user's parameters, it looked something like this:
TheDelegatedUser_appledore.notes.thecompany.com_TheManagedUser_
strider.notes.thecompany.com_<AnINIParameter>=<A value>
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# MROE6JTTAV, and was
fixed in DAMO 7.0.2.
